Student Wellbeing

Student Wellbeing

Student wellbeing underpins every aspect of a student’s schooling, including their learning, engagement and social relationships. Student wellbeing is a fundamental component of the school experience and is just as important as academic achievement. Social and emotional learning (SEL) is a key component of every student’s education.

Through theatre in education, Story telling, dance and music and art and craft work students are empowered with meaningful strategies to enhance resilience, emotional awareness, self-regulation, social skills, help-seeking and positive mental health. Supported by a follow-up Q&A and curriculum-aligned teaching resources, each performance provides a springboard for further discussions in the classroom.

*In special cases the school psychologist’s intervention is sought.
