General Question

The school primarily focuses on developing academic, social, emotional and physical skills of children in order to lay a strong foundation on which they may have an active and positive participation in the real world. We provide enough opportunities for the children to work upon their inherent and acquired skills through classroom discussions, participation in various group activities, team building activities, participation in class quizzes, seminars etc

The School follows the CBSE mapped curriculum.  International Curriculum is also available for learners aspiring to study an International curriculum. The courses are available for middle, senior and senior secondary classes i.e from Grade 6 to Grade 12. We procure our course material from International University Press and from our in-house book developers. , These books are available in our Learning Management System (LMS) as E-books with videos and audio. Other associated learning material is also available for ready reference. our curriculum is very flexible and accommodating to the specific learning needs of the students. This makes our School an ideal fit for students from all backgrounds.

Essential enrollment requirements at school include:

  1. Access to high-speed internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps.
  2. A desktop or laptop that allows children to access their online classes. Usage of smart-phones, tablets, and i-Phones etc is optional though not recommended.
  3. Other basic requirements for admission in a particular grade are age requirements and other essential documentary proofs related to identity and address proof.

Academic Question

The school timings are from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm from Monday to Friday with an activity day on every first and third Saturday. However, the timings vary across classes For grades 6 to 8, there will be 5 classes of 50 minutes each with a 10 minute break after each session and a 40 minute long break after the 3rd class. Timings may be subject to change in future.

The subjects offered at the Middle level (grades 6 to 8) include English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Computer Education, Physical Education, Value Education and Hindi/French.

Physical education is taught both theoretically and practically. During the class, the teacher explains the concepts theoretically and then students are given tasks to perform outdoors that are recorded and submitted within the assessment deadline.

Various extracurricular activities like yoga, music, art, dance, story-telling, cultural exchanges, personality-development classes, moral studies etc are conducted by the school for the holistic development of the students.

Tracking your child’s performance is just a click away at our School. We provide parents with the freedom to consistently keep a track of their child’s performance by logging in to the LMS at any time. Monthly progress reports of the students are also emailed to the parents so that parents of our students  are always on track with the progress of their children.

There is absolutely no requirement for the parents to sit through the child’s classes. The Learning Management System is powerful enough to inspire children to learn easily and independently. In fact, we at School encourage the students to be independent. The parents are only to support the learning process of their child.

Parents Question

In such cases the school conducts an evaluation test for the child to decide the eligibility for admission to next higher class. In case the child fails the evaluation test, he/she may be asked to repeat the same class.

LMS or Learning Management System is an AI-powered system that monitors and manages your child’s learning adaptability with updates regarding homework & assignments. It is versatile, simple to use and extremely safe. It is a complete communication and content administration interface, designed to support classroom activities.

The Student’s Learning Kit, is a collection of textbooks and workbooks for use during the academic year. Parents can order and receive the Kit at home after enrollment and due payment of fees. This important educational kit includes all necessary school supplies such as study books, notebooks, crayons, glitters, pens and pencils as well as art & craft materials.

Personalized Learning is a pedagogical approach that aims at customizing the learning for a learner based on his/her aptitude, attitude and likings.  We acknowledge that children learn in different ways and at different paces, therefore our approach is built around a combination of rich, challenging and immersive content delivery through engaging and impressive online classes and resource material. Our School believes in nurturing the uniqueness of every student which is the reason why our maximum batch strength is 20 students per classroom. This is intended to provide maximum attention to each child along with an adequate level of classroom interaction among peers.

Language labs are specially designed language sessions for students to help them with their vocabulary and in strengthening their communication skills using a variety of collaborative sessions through audio, video or written content.

At School, the teaching-learning process is all about hands-on activities with real objects. Children at our school learn primarily by doing. Middle and senior school students are encouraged to explore and research various topics in order to prepare and present their projects. Teacher encourages and motivates them to take on such activities during the class. The teacher leads in such cases by example.

English is the primary medium of instruction; however, teachers may use Hindi to re-explain or clarify a specific topic if the students request it. We believe in that the objective of the learning transaction is to ensure enduring learning and therefore language will not be a constraint

We have a well-defined Activity Calendar that includes online celebrations throughout the year, as well as Physical Picnics organized in each state once in few months to promote effective social skills. Some of our extra-curricular activities include art, music, dance, theatre, puppet shows, storytelling, etc.

Writing is one of the most important skills for children to learn at school since it allows them to communicate and think clearly. The teachers at School regularly ask students to submit handwritten assignments, which are then corrected and returned to them via the LMS, which the parents can monitor anytime. We also maintain a healthy balance between device usage, writing skills, book reading and hands-on learning. Also, teachers encourage the practice of writing during the class.

Examinations are essential to evaluate the children’s academic progress. Exams at School are held twice a year and at the end of each term. The first term exams are held in September while the second term exams are held in February-March. Students are informed well in advance. A date sheet with the exam syllabus for each subject is mailed to all the students Enough revision work in class and through revision worksheets is done to ensure that students are well prepared for the exam. The Exam date sheet is designed in such a way that students have enough preparation time in between subjects. The school also conducts online assessments for all students after every lesson and module.

Teachers are present in the classroom during examinations for close observation and monitoring. They also use multiple versions of tests to combat internet cheating. Moreover the questions are skill-based and require higher-order thinking skills rendering use of the internet or other learning material useless . In addition to this our AI functionalities ensure that cheating is curbed.

The teachers are trained well to deal with any type of student misbehaviour. Our AI makes it simple to record each and every action and mood of the students, thereby helping the teachers to take the necessary and timely corrective action as and when required.

Yes! Students are assigned homework regularly. They can access their home assignments through the assignment tab on our portal. These assignments are published for a limited time; if a child is unable to complete it by the deadline, the same assignment is then republished for them. Our teachers also keep a checklist of all students and those who do not complete their assignments are reported and the parents are notified regarding the same.

Our School follows the Indian academic calendar including designated summer, autumn, winter, gazetted holidays and festival breaks like any physical school.
