Our revolutionary teaching model allows pupils to make excellent progress in rapid time The school offers International Curriculum to learners in the age group 12- 18 years through an online platform that provides flexibility and accessibility. The school uses an online learning platform and lesson library for delivery and 24/7 access to subject materials for students is ensured.
Classes are timetabled and lessons are taught live by qualified teachers trained in online teaching and learning. All lessons are recorded and are made available to students for future reference. Lessons are designed and optimized for online learning.
Highly qualified and experienced teachers teach concepts handpicked from top schools. Teachers use various teaching tools and plan methodically by preparing lesson plans to create learning interest among students. Combined with a proven educational model and innovative delivery, we bring life to lessons and increase students’ involvement in learning new concepts. Our online school is unique in its flexibility, approach, and accessibility. Effective classroom learning without interruptions allows pupils to progress in their learning giving them time to pursue other interests. At Himalayan School, diverse learning styles are adopted and each pupil’s individual needs are taken care of, thereby promoting an inclusive and effective learning environment.
Content Delivery
Depending on the subject and age of student, subjects may include a ‘Primary’ lesson (seminar) and a ‘follow’ lesson (tutorial of up to 20 students). Students apply the knowledge they have learned through ‘apply’ or homework assignments and are assessed regularly through summative and formative assessments. Teachers use online break out rooms, chats, polls, quizzes as well as virtual simulations to encourage student interaction and foster engagement and understanding of the topics taught. Online learning allows each student to progress and succeed at their own rate.
Community Connect
Students get an opportunity to connect with the peers and members of the social community through community programs like club activities and open cultural, sports or social events and meetings, online and offline. The school enables its pupils to thrive both academically and socially online whilst helping them to develop the skills they need to succeed in the modern world
